![]() ![]() I plan to use Blue Iris, Plex, Home Assistant, and host a file server on this pc so the CPU must be able to handle 4k encoding and a fairly decent workload. These parts must be compatible with my current list. This seems to only be a problem if you are running blue iris as a service. TL DR: I need recommendations for a replacement CPU, motherboard and possibly ram (unless I can just reuse the ones I currently have) that support H.265 and are not too power hungry. Anytime the server reboots, as blue iris launches it will bind the IPV4 for the actual network adapter, NOT the IPV4 of the zero tier virtual adapter. Unlucky I didn't have one but luckily I didn't buy the 3770k that's already in the system since now I need to find a new MOBO, CPU, and most likely RAM to go a long with it that support H.265. Shop the ultra-luxe Iris Apfel eyewear collection featuring bold eyeglass frames that. Something that I had just realised after watching the hook ups video on Blue Iris is that it's highly recommended to have a 6th Gen Skylake CPU or newer since that is when intel started including H.265 encoding which really help with the performance in Blue Iris. I was able to extract the MOBO, cpu and I believe the ram from the old rig and into this current one because I thought I would be able to save some money this way and I purchased the rest of the components around these parts(except for the gpu which was an old one I had lying around). I used an old computer that my friend gave me as a base line for the parts. ![]() Home Assistant will also be running until I decide to offload it to a raspberry pi or a Home Assistant Yellow when it releases. I want a Windows 2022 Server running: Blue Iris (with deep stack), Plex Server and a NAS.
